Richard Hawley, guitarist with Pulp, The Longpigs and a solo artist in his own right is one of Sheffield's best loved musicians.

Many of his songs reflect his upbringing in Sheffield and name check parts of the city. 

His songs have been collectively used to tell the story of the Park Hill estate in 'Standing at the Sky's Edge' in a musical now seen in London's West End.
